Full Day Workshop 10am - 4pm, Knowle, Nr. Braunton
(Workshops need a minimum of 2x people to go ahead)
You will be able to make 1x small Pendant and 1x pair of Drop Earrings, OR you can make 2x Pendants. 1x chain or 1x pair of earring wires are included, extras are available. Bee Lavish Gift Packaging will also be available as an extra on the day so you can elegantly package any gifts making them ready to go!
Taking inspiration from nature this is a Beginners Workshop is for replicating little beach finds; sea shells, sea urchins, mussel shells etc. in silver clay (photos above are only to show some shell examples, if you would like to make stud earrings please see the Little Studs Workshop, if you would like to make a ring please contact me for a bespoke workshop). Workshops are kept small so you will have as much guidance as you need.
What is Silver Clay
What is Silver Clay?
Recycled fine silver particles suspended in an organic binder that dissipates when fired, leaving you with solid silver pieces of jewellery to polish and wear by the end of the workshop.

Workshop Info.
Full Day Workshop, 10am - 4pm, the finish time is dependent on the size of the Group so be prepared for the workshop to finish both a little later and earlier. Tea & Coffee is provided but please bring a light lunch, and any extra soft drinks; we will take a short break whilst the clay is drying!
Please wear clothing you won't be worried about getting a little dirty or dusty or an apron, and please bring/wear closed toe shoes for during firing the Silver. Long hair must be tied back at times so please ensure you have something suitable, and bring glasses if you need them for close up work. It is advisable to wear a mask during light sanding, particularly if working indoors, so please have access to one if you wish to wear one.
Workshop Details
Knowle/Braunton is where my Home, Studio & Workshop are based - most workshops will take place here with occasional larger group, or private large group workshops, hosted locally nearby. The Venue & Workshop details will be emailed to you closer to your workshop date.
This Workshops is suitable for 14yrs + (anyone under 18yrs must be accompanied by a participating adult please).
