A workshop combining Silver Clay with Traditional Silversmithing techniques.  Taking inspiration from nature's forms, textures and the seasons to create a beautiful bespoke collection of little solid silver earring studs from silver clay.  You will then learn how to solder ear pins and fit scrolls.  Workshops are small so you will have as much guidance as you need wether you have any previous experience or are a beginner.

  • What is Silver Clay?

    What is Silver Clay?

Recycled fine silver particles suspended in an organic binder that dissipates when fired, leaving you with solid silver pieces of jewellery to polish and wear by the end of the workshop.

Please note that by attending a Workshop you agree not to copy any of Bee Lavish's lesson plans, ideas or designs to reproduce for teaching or selling. You also agree to the Terms & Conditions of the Workshops which can be found in the FAQ section.  Thank you!

  • Workshop Info.

Full Day Workshop, 10am - 4.30pm, the finish time is dependent on the size of the Group so be prepared for the workshop to finish both a little later and earlier.  Tea & Coffee is provided but please bring a light lunch, and any extra soft drinks; we will take a short break whilst the clay is drying!

Please wear clothing you won't be worried about getting a little dirty or dusty or an apron, and please bring/wear closed toe shoes for during firing the Silver.  Long hair must be tied back at times so please ensure you have something suitable, and bring glasses if you need them for close up work.  It is advisable to wear a mask during light sanding, particularly if working indoors, so please have access to one if you wish to wear one.
